Gumnuts Farm & Horseriding Resort is a 140-acre horse farm nestled in the picturesque Biddaddaba Valley, on the edge of the Scenic Rim, in between Beaudesert, the Gold Coast and Brisbane City and close to all the wonderful Sub-tropical rainforests that are a part of the National Parks Estate in this region.

The word “Biddaddaba” is a local aboriginal word referring to the Australian Monarch Butterfly, which during certain times of the year come to this valley from all around to reproduce.

The farm is set in rolling hills interwoven by the sparkling Biddaddaba Creek. The natural wildlife of Kangaroos, possums, and native birds as well as the farms horses, lambs, goats, and of course “Dolly” the cow are always popular.

There are many other Farm and Nature based activities such as fishing, yabbying, whip cracking, boomerang throwing, clay pigeon (disk) shooting, 4WD driving, wine tasting, cattle & dog shows, star gazing, baby animal, possum and lorikeet feeding, orienteering, environmental and historical walks, bird watching, camp fires and sausage sizzles, which provide our customers from both overseas and Australian Cities with special cultural experiences combining education and pleasure.
